So, after all this time we got to see our wedding pictures, they are nothing but amazing. this evening Luke and I get to sit down and go through each picture, after we do that, our wonderful picture lady Lisa will go through them and make them color, black&white, older looking and do all that amazing stuff to them and we get to pick the pictures we want for our wedding book as well. I can't wait to start showing them off to everyone. I am posting one picture and that is the one above. I am excited for Lisa to take this picture and make it look even more amazing then it already does. Hopefully in the next few weeks, we can start showing them off to everyone and bring the book every where we go to show people. wedding pictures are once in a life time thing, I think they should be showed off to the world LOL!!!

So. Things that are new with the Thompson over the last week. Work has been very stressful for me as I work in adult family home as a CNA with DD adults. things are work have been a bit rough, I have been praying for guideness on this one thing and where God want me to be at in my life as the age of 23. back to school is where I think my road is headed, I am thinking along the lines of a MA. it sounds very exciting to me or even an EMT. talk about EXCITING times there, even tho it would also be sad moments but then again it would never be the "same old, same old" but then again Luke says if I become an EMT he is worried about me putting my life on the line. so I am really not sure of what I will do between the two yet but they both sound very exciting to me. I even think an ER doctor would be great too. very EXCITING times. We will see what God has in store for me.

Luke and I both have been very sick with a terrible terrible cold. I guess it is that time of year where everyone seems to be getting sick, weather changes and allergic are the biggest bummer ever.

Luke and I are planning a trip in July, we leave July 14th for an ISLAND trip. everything is booked and paid for in full. this is so exciting and the best part about it is that it is free. other then our gas that is for the car but that isn't a whole lot. God has truly blessed us.

Can't wait to show off all our wedding pictures here soon. we will have to have a HUGE BBQ party and to everyone together to see them.

I was going through some of our old pictures just now and came across this one and oh boy! such a wonderful evening that was down by the bay. it was so nice. That is when we were dating. I think it was back in the summer time. so it was just about a year ago. it is crazy how fast time goes by and how amaze we are at how far we have come in life. I have watch Luke and I grow as our own person and grow together as one. it never seems to amaze me how amazing our love is for each other and how far we both have came in our walk in life, not just with each other but with Christ too. We realize more and more how God brought us together and how we are so meant to be as one. Everytime I think of these times I just can't help but say how much in love with my husband Luke that I am. My love for him grows deeper and stronger each day. we both have goals in life and we are both more then happy to walk by each others side in support, I am excited to see where the road of life will lead us. I feel God has an exciting plan for us, for our life together. I have been doing a lot of praying about work and where God wants to be in life and how I should be using my life. I feel I am met to work with the foster children, the young girls that have been abused, the girls that were left behide. the young girls that end up pregnant at such a young age and have no where to go, I feel my calling is with them. the only qustion left un answer is when and where and how can I help. God says he will answer our prayers but nothing is in our timing, it is all in the Lord's perfect timing. for we are his children, we must await on the Lord.

WOW!! Today I couldn't help but look into my husbands eyes and remember why I married him, why I am so proud to call him my husband and someday the father of my children. he has the greatest heart I know. I feel our love growing for each other each and everyday. He lights up my world everytime he looks into my eyes and smiles with that look on his face that says "I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU" that is the best look I have ever seen. He is such a hard worker, Luke works so hard on making me happy, keeping the house clean and holding down a job, I know we meet each other %100 each way, I just always feel so blessed that I was blessed enough to get a husband like him, one that loves me more then I ever thought anyone ever could. One that lights up my face everytime I see him. Wow! marriage with my husband is the most wonderful thing in the world. in five days we will have been married for 3 months and these 3 months have been such a joy between the amazing times and the trouble times but what we are both learning is that it is only making our marriage stronger and we want our marriage to be as strong as it can get. Thank you God for all the wonderful things you have done in our lifes a couple in christ.

This is what happens on sundays after church

It is sunday morning and Fathers day. I didn't sleep very well last night. I was in a bit of pain from well that time of the month again. woke up at 8:15am, my husband is sound asleep. We are going to church this morning and then I will be picking up Kaniyah and Kyah right after. We will be having dinner with the Thompson family about 1pm. then I will be heading over to see my dad for a bit. Hoping for nice weather today. It looks like it might rain tho. Luke and I are getting our wedding pictures on thursday at 430pm. this is very exciting. This coming week. I will just be working the 40 hours week. I am looking forward to that. I am not going to want to go back to my 50 hour week next week. we will see how it goes. well anyways. that is what is happening in the thompson family today. Luke is working at 230-9pm today, so I will be hanging with the kido's and hopefully get some things done.

My first post

My husband Luke and I have the most amazing marriage I know of but then again I am sure a lot of new married couple believe this as well but I really mean it. I never thought I would be so blessed to have a husband that loves me so much and treats me like a queen. He always goes out of his way to make me happy and the flowers he gives me once a week is just a reminder of how wonderful he is. this july we are taking a week off to get away. just the two of us. the 2nd week of july i believe we are going. we are looking forward to it so much. we feel so bless for all God has done for us and how we are both blessed with one another and such wonderful jobs and such a great family. Luke and I are working on our marriage, making it as strong as we can over the next year or two before we start bringing children into this world and we both look forward to that day but as of this moment we enjoy each other to the fullest and thank God for all he has done to bring us together. Luke and I met back when we were both in high school, Luke went to Lynden Christian and I was homeschooled. we were about 16 years old when we met in the safeway parking lot. Luke thought he had the most amazing robert dance anyone had ever seen. he showed it to me and I thought to myself "man is this really happening" I then made up some reason why I needed to go, I slowly made my next to my car and went home and God always kept us on each others hearts for many years. we were friends and always ran into each other at his work or mine. slowly as time went on I also started to like Luke A LOT!! I never told him and well Luke was to shy to pick up on it back then, I then moved to OR, for a year and we had lost touch in that time. when I return back to Lynden washington, OH BOY!! must I say God had a plan for us that either one of us saw coming? well. God had a plan for us that we did not see coming. that Nov, Luke and I started talking and becoming very good friends and both really starting to like each other, by Dec, we both realize how much we both were falling for each other. as our feelings were growing so strong for each other. I was the bigger one to say anything about it and took the big step to let Luke know how I was feeling. Luke was at work one evening and I had left a card on his car. he got it and read it and I had heard nothing for three days. I was a bit worried. then I got a phone call from Luke and I was very excited about that. he had asked me for coffee, I agree. we met for coffee at starbunks in bellingham on Jan,14th Thursday 2009. we talked for a long time and he had asked me there to tell me he was feeling the same way and asked me out that evening. I of course said YES!! We got engaged on new years of 2009-2010 also on a thursday and got married march 25th 2010 which was also on a thursday, everything BIG for us seem to happen on a thursday, must be a very lucky day for us. Luke and I were just talking about that last night and Luke said well it must mean all our children will be born on a thursday. haha. how funny would that be!
